AI startup EliseAI announced Tuesday that it has raised $350 million at a $4 billion valuation, double its value when it raised a Series E last August.

The latest round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Ventures. Founded in 2017, EliseAI automates the administrative and operational work of housing and healthcare companies. The company said its software is used in one in six apartments nationwide and announced this summer that its ARR had topped $200 million.

Earlier this month, Elise announced the launch of an artificial intelligence “teammate” called Apollo, which helps solve problems within the EliseAI platform. “It’s natively built into the same platform that already handles rentals, maintenance and renewals,” co-founder and CEO Minna Song told TechCrunch. “As such, he can act in any role within the real estate team.”

EliseAI also helps automate patient-related documentation for healthcare teams, “from the first incoming call to referrals, scheduling, insurance verification, chart preparation and follow-up so nothing slips through the cracks,” she said. The company is focusing its efforts on housing and health care because they are two “of the largest expenses for American households,” she said.
